Three Mills, the Bow Back Rivers & 2012 Games London

Went on another walk in the afternoon today, in conjunction with London Walks and the Inland Water Association, going around the rivers of East London around the Olympic Games site. And how interesting! It was almost unreal how much nature exists within a stone's throw of the City. Helped by an excellent guide, it was a brilliant afternoon's walking. Plus I managed to go graffiti spotting...

London Walks - Old Jewish Quarter

Today I went on a guided walk from London Walks (www.walks.com). This time it was the Old Jewish Quarter, led by the brilliant Shaughan, taking us to the Bevis Marks Synagogue (an excellent piece of architecture from the early 1700s) and then east to Spitalfields. A very enjoyable way to spend the morning, and I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in London. What follows are some pictures of interesting things that I noticed on the walk.
